I count them, one, two, three… Five thousand. Ten. Too many, too long. TWO Treasures disappear. See them go? One, two, three… Liberties and freedoms— Lives. Why do we wait? THREE Children cry and die. Counting bars and days: One, two three… Mother and father gone. Lost. Seconds become minutes become MORE Nations crumble In less time than one, two, three… Walls disintegrate. Fall. And so may we—in time. ONE TWO THREE WELCOME TO THE END.
