ONE
Every second.
I count them, one, two, three…
Five thousand.
Ten.
Too many, too long.
TWO
Treasures disappear.
See them go? One, two, three…
Liberties and freedoms—
Lives.
Why do we wait?
THREE
Children cry and die.
Counting bars and days: One, two three…
Mother and father gone.
Lost.
Seconds become minutes become
MORE
Nations crumble
In less time than one, two, three…
Walls disintegrate.
Fall.
And so may we—in time.
ONE
TWO
THREE
WELCOME TO THE END.
Nice
